Business Development & Partnerships Lead


The Business Development and Partnerships team helps Chatdesk develop relationships across the customer experience industry. You will use your problem solving, networking and communication skills to identify potential partners, develop mutually beneficial value propositions and drive execution. You will get hands on operating experience in a fast growing company. There will be opportunities to travel and work with people from all over the world. Based on performance, there will be opportunities to hire and build a team and grow your leadership.

Your impact

  • Develop the partner strategy and goals to enhance Chatdesk’s position in the customer experience industry
  • Grow deep relationships and close deals with existing and new strategic partners (e.g. Software providers, BPOs, Agencies, CX & Marketing Influencers) to deliver long-term value across our partner ecosystem in alignment with our business objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Chatdesk engineering, product, marketing, and customer success to define product and solution priorities for platform and technology partnerships
  • Advocate for partners internally and build strong relationships and alignment to partner strategy across Chatdesk’s business leaders

  • 4+ years in the B2B SaaS industry with 2+ years of experience leading business development teams and building long lasting strategic partnerships
  • Experience in working with and consulting executive level business, sales, marketing and product leaders
  • Ability to influence and direct multiple initiatives, handle ambiguity, and succeed with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to implement rigor around measuring and reporting out on partner success
  • Fast learner; adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and corresponding value propositions on the fly
  • Can clearly articulate complex technical and business solutions to diverse audiences
  • Superb presentation skills
  • Able to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
  • Travel required

  • Previous Sales Methodology training
  • CRM experience
